GROWING A SKI RESORT BRAND WITH THE HYDDA GROWTH MODEL

Ukkohalla Ski Resort is a  ski resort in Northern Finland, driven by a deep passion for skiing and a long-term vision of building something meaningful for the next generation. When they wanted to grow their presence on social media, the goal wasn’t just visibility — it was to tell their story in a way that feels real, human and sustainable.

Using The Hydda™ Growth Model, we helped Ukkohalla turn everyday moments on the slopes into a consistent social media presence that supports brand growth year-round. By combining story-driven strategy, platform-native content and smart distribution, social media became a long-term growth tool — not just a seasonal marketing channel.

DESIGN

DESIGNING THE CONCEPT: STORY OF PASSION.

At the core of the strategy was a concept we designed called A Story of Passion”. The idea was to root Ukkohalla Ski Resort’s content in the owners’ genuine passion for skiing and their long-term vision of building a ski resort for the next generation. Instead of focusing on facilities or offers, the concept shifted the narrative to values, legacy and the people behind the slopes.

This story-driven approach gave the content a clear emotional anchor. By highlighting everyday moments, commitment and love for the sport, we created a foundation for content that feels authentic, human and sustainable — a story that grows with the resort and resonates beyond a single season.
